Fiornia. She was a fairly poor CEO, by the standards of private business. Even so, she should be far better qualified than a "community organizer" or former first lady. She actually has executive experience and isn't a career government drone.

Kind of like how we did arming the Muj to oppose the Russians.
CF is intelligent, articulate and speaks from the heart. She has all the qualities of a leader. given more exposure her stock will rise.

To project democratic startegy upon her is misplaced at best and demonstrates fatal a blindness toward recognizing substance, leadership and intelligence.

I think if this Poll was Hillary Clinton vs not Hillary Clinton she would lose.

I probably won't see that in my lifetime.
What?

A. Carly Florina is not attractive in any traditional or non-traditional sense that I can see. But this would not be a reason for me to vote or not vote for her.

B. We should pick our female candidates based on how pretty they are? Is this 2015?

C. Every old Republican man in America was drooling over Palin while the rest of us knew that she was a walking disaster. Lipstick on a pig and all that.

D. So tired of this silly meme that only Republican women are attractive. It's false and it sets the women's movement back 100 years.

Mrs Skeffington, you are very very bad. I like that in you. As another conservative leaning woman I had to laugh at your post.

Have you ever looked at someone and wondered what they looked like while having sex? Sounds weird, I know. But can you imagine Boxer, Pelosi, Wasserman-Schultz, Feinstein, Clinton in the sack? I think that if these whack-job, self-involved, self-important, I-worked-so-hard-for-that-title liberals had had long, slow, hot sex at ANY point in the last 10 years, then maybe they wouldn't look like the stern, dried up, shallow individuals that they are.

Have to agree with some that she may not be able to gain enough traction to be a real contender. I hope that I'm wrong and that she can fight her way above the fray and begin to register with potential voters.

Can't vote in any of the CD straw polls yet because it's just too early and there's too many faces. Eventually the system will take care of that issue though - polling numbers will stay consistently low, money will dry up, potentials will tire of fighting a seemingly losing battle and drop out etc etc. it will take time to see that happen and we'll see if Fiorina is still standing or not.

As I've stated earlier...A RAT Race can Only be won by a Rat. Carly Fiorina is no Rat.

The part most of us respect, like about her, her niceness, gentleness...is the part of her that IS against her, in the Corrupt Political arena. Sad....but you know it's true!!

But, she should be on someone's TOP of list...to be in Cabinet, etc.

Don't mistake nice or gentle for weakness. The best leaders have those qualities in addition to the ability to be tough, cold hearted and determined when necessary. I'm not dismissing her, because I believe that she has all of those qualities. I could be wrong, and we'll see over the next few months.
