I do see it from their view. I live in the reddest of the red, I hear it all day, there are e-mails and flyers posted on the bulletin board, bashing Obama, bashing liberals, bashing the Clintons, bashing the ACA. All day, every day. I'm very cognizant of their viewpoint.
And yet you refuse to empathize or even admit that there may be a point being made. Cognizant does not mean empathize, it is just another defense for ignoring any other point of view.

How many Iraqi's have we killed? Yes, Saddam had to be brutal and we now understand why. We went in not knowing what we were doing or having any plan. Those that Saddam were brutal to have now taken control over much of the area and we now call them our enemy with calls for us to be brutal.
Odd it's O.K. for us but not for Saddam. Saddam knew what he was doing. We didn't and still don't. I can understand why people over there are ticked at us for screwing things up.
Are you involved in Iraqi intelligence and the planning for the Iraqi war? Since you claim to know so much about the plans and execution of those plans it appears that you think you have intimate knowledge of them. Or are you just bloviating again?
Usually, Republicans exercise Neanderthal diplomacy, not knowing a damn thing about the people they're opposing. "Shock and awe" does not work. They are unable to empathize, a severe flaw in who they are.
