Trump is hardly anti-politician. He has spread money all across the politisphere in furtherance of his paracitism. He donated to Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, and $50,000 to ex-chief of staff for Pres. Obama Rahm Emanuel shortly before Trump declared Obama as the worst president in history.

If I think prez is the worst in history, I'm not going to give $50 grand to his ex chief of staff. Trump is the polar opposite of 'anti-politician.'

He talks about common sense things that I'm for- namely enforcement for immigration. Even if he's not the ultimate nominee, he has at least brought that topic to the fore. Jebitos can no longer ignore it and hide behind his mexican wife, his brother and father. He will be forced to go on red odd on where he stands on the issue-AGAIN.

Keep denying that though. That's the same type of denial thinking that helped FOX News and the GOP in general convince themselves that all the polls during the last presidential election were deliberately "under-sampling" Republicans - and that on election night Romney was going to win.

Ken

Really?

As I said reasonably intelligent people realize that he was talking about illegal aliens from Mexico. Besides, those who are for amnesty tend to be illegal aliens (and not just Hispanic illegal aliens) and those who aid and abet them.

No politician, on either side of the aisle, should be pandering to lawbreakers and those who aid and abet them.

I have no reason to be angry at Trump because I knew what he meant. Are you saying that Hispanic-Americans are not smart enough to realize what he meant?

Actually......Walt filed for bankruptcy only once. When film cartoon making was in it's infancy and he was developing it as an art form. Walt was also self-made. Trump's Daddy started the business Trump managed to screw up....four times.

While Trump is a constant source of entertainment and his hair is cartoonish.... Donald Duck would make a better president.

Donald Trump's Eminent-Domain Empire by Michelle Malkin on Creators.com - A Syndicate Of Talent

How do you defend Trump's use of gov't to try to confiscate private property?
How do you defend Trump's use of gov't to try to confiscate private property?

The reason you won't get anyone to answer is because the complexity of the issue and the amount of
research and*writing involved which few would read to understand what&how it happened. Nothing will
likely change a closed mind anyway. So I don't try to do that. But I do answer the question

Actually no one has to defend it because the Connecticut Supreme Court did and on appeal
to SCOTUS did also with the 5/4 decision in Kelo v. City of New London.

I remember reading about both these cases when they were playing out in the news papers.
I was appalled at the decisions by the courts as were many other people.
I felt a great injustice was being done, and continue to believe that the greatest
harm done to the people is a direct result of 5/4 SCOTUS decisions. No other branch of
government has done as much harm as has the Courts. That is why most people will avoid
gambling in that direction, because that is what you are doing when you go that route.

I include some links that if read would provide some knowledge to form a reasonable opinion.
Once the SCOTUS ruled many states addressed the issue and some changed the State Constitution.
So some good did come from the Trump publicity.

What Trump was doing was playing within the rules and competing with other developers who were doing the same thing. Politics, and Business also, can be a dirty business when the stakes are high. That is why I support Trump. He fights the fight to the end. When he is fighting for the interest of America that is the guy I want. The drop to your knees and tug at the zipper politicians we have had are not benefiting American interest on trade and many other issues.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institute_for_Justice

Frankly, we had not realized just how widespread this phenomenon was until [the Coking case] ... Once we became aware of it, though, we formed a strategic plan to escalate it to national attention and ultimately to the Supreme Court, which we did in the course of the next seven years.

Donald Trump's Eminent-Domain Empire by Michelle Malkin on Creators.com - A Syndicate Of Talent

Trump doesn't have to negotiate with a private owner when he wants to buy a piece of property, because a governmental agency — the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority or CRDA — will get it for him at a fraction of the market value, even if the current owner refuses to sell.

https://www.ij.org/atlantic-city-nj-...ion-background

https://www.ij.org/cases

The IJ also created the Castle Coalition, a "nationwide grassroots property rights activism project" that "teaches home and small business owners how to protect themselves and stand up to the greedy governments and developers who seek to use eminent domain to take private property for their own gain."
