For me, the real story here is that Walker is beating Bush.

No one I know, of either party, wants a third Bush to be Pres.

Everyone I know is pulling for Bernie Sanders. All that proves is that people tend to hang out with people similar to themselves.

As far as I can tell, Jeb Bush thinks he should be President because of his last name and the fact he married a Mexican woman and is semi-fluent in Spanish.

For me the real story is that the United States 3-year general election cycle is torture, way too long, and usually ends up inaccurately boosting the novelty candidates. It should be about 6 weeks, as in the UK. Starting the election campaign immediately after the last election provides a lot of controversy and discussion, but is basically a worthless waste of time (except for people like Trump and Cain, who get weeks and weeks of publicity before disappearing).

Everyone I know on the "left" is for Bernie. Those I know on the "right" still seem to have not made up their mind.

Quite so. Kudos for recognizing this - most people just don't see it.

Thus, the old saw about the Republican who says:
"I can't believe the Democrat won the election! Not a single person I've talked to at the country club, the marina, or my Bentley dealership voted for him!"

Me, too...

...in 2020 or 2024, when it's 'his turn' after finishing second in 2016.
