In 2008, Obama told his fans, give me your number and I'll text you with my VP pick. I thought, who would be crazy enough to do that? This is the way the Obama campaign builds a potential donor call list. Anyone who calls the Trump number is giving his campaign their phone number because we don't already get enough e-mails, snail mail, phone calls, texts from politicians, right?

Maybe Lindsey Graham was smart enough to use those numbers from people who called him.

I'm SMART enough to ALWAYS use *67 on ALL my cell phone calls to others...which Blocks my name and number from being Seen.

I just called the number. Got a voice mail message that says he's running for president blah blah blah. It also will not accept a message at this time.

I think that's the whole point of what Trump did. Gawker played the "if he can give out Grahams' number, we will give out HIS". Trump turned it around so that if people called the number they got his newly recorded voice message which was a campaign message.

i think what trump did was smart but not as clever as graham's ( or more than likely graham's campaign advisor's ) response to trump.

Most people I know would not answer a call from a blocked number, though. Ditto for me, blocked calls seem to always be a solicitation.

Hey genius...Trump's cell number is automated. Answered and Donald gave sales pitch.

And FYI, You are WRONG. Never had anyone not answer my Blocked number.

All you Experts are so helpful.
