If it is that easy, why doesn’t Bush do it? You know, "the front runner” and the presumptive nominee.

So, that's not an answer. That's identifying a situation. There's no policy solution to it. I revert back to my original question. Hopefully you can provide some insight so I can see if there's any rationality behind the support for Trump or if it's just lowly educated populations (as shown by polling data) drawn to him for an emotional high.

But, to answer the question of how does it help us, Ford operates on a global platform and they manufacture worldwide to have a short supply chain to their consumers in markets such as China and Europe. The profits generated - and jobs created - in places like metro Detroit to manage that operation do benefit us domestically. Ford is paying taxes to the U.S. ultimately.

In addition, creating good jobs in Mexico reduces the flow of illegal immigrants to our country and improves the standard of living for our neighbors, which includes with time better environmental and labor laws. If you don't think that matters, just look at Canada's strong and stable economy and how much it benefits us - from both a consumer perspective and a diplomatic perspective. Their banking system didn't collapse in '08 because they maintained strong regulation of it.

So, Trump's just playing to xenophobes who feel threatened by a global society in which Trump himself has profited greatly. He's created many jobs in Mexico for his various properties. Don't let his rhetoric deceive you.

I don’t know what this means.

Liberals are the architects of the modern labor and environmental laws. Why are you leaving the back door open for the likes of Ford to sneak out, build the same car and bring it back in for free while destroying jobs? What kind of “progressive” are you?

Intriguing the lengths people go to avoid explaining their support for a candidate. Given Mr. Trump's racist, sexist, and xenophobic comments, one can only conclude that the supporters are drawn to him because of those views, not in spite of them.
Dear Heart it is you who have posted ad nauseam with insult & fallacy about the people who listen to Trump instead of actually discussing the huge attendance that Trump drew in Alabama. Obviously that isn't to your liking as the large attendance portrays Trump in a positive light.

Nobody is buying your spin and the evidence on the ground further proves it wrong.

Well, by that logic why does Miley Cyrus sell out stadiums and Miles Davis played smaller venues? Does that make Miley a better musician?

I don't think many people are excited about another Bush-Clinton showdown. They want something different. Perhaps Biden could catch on with time but no one's really excited about any of the realistic candidates.

Remember, in '07 the media was sure the election would be Hillary - Rudy Giuliani. Then along came Barack.

By raising the bar, they are trying to make 20,000 people showing up in August in some backwater like Mobile as insignificant. Not bad for someone who was at 1% in June.
You are doing the same thing though. You are trying to make Mobile sound like some small town to bloster trump as if he pulled the entire population of the town and extra people out of no where, when in reality Its a city of 200,000 in a metro area of 1 million.

A "job" as defined by the Obama administration is anyone who got paid for one hour of work in any week.

No surprise that 1 in 5 Americans are on Foodstamps. This is unprecedented in American history.
