It should make you feel better that national polls of this type 14 months ahead of an election are practically meaningless for anything other than one party getting all puffy about what they read as a "problem" for their opponents.
Hillary does come off as dishonest, stiff, and unlikeable. She's basically the Democrats' Mitt Romney with added scandal.
She could improve her image simply by being herself. When she was speaking off the cuff with the Black Lives Matter people, she seemed genuine and believable. Of course, her handlers were there to ruin the moment and interrupt before things got too real.
She also needs to start actually campaigning. The Democratic base is losing whatever enthusiasm they had for her because she apparently feels that she doesn't need to campaign with the peasants. Within days of each other, Clinton and Sanders were in my city. Sanders held a rally that 28,000 people attended. Clinton swooped in mostly in secret and vacuumed up money at an event in some rich guy's back yard that only other insiders with lots of cash to throw around knew about. That's not how you fire up the base.
It's as if she didn't learn anything from 2008. If she keeps it up she'll be tearfully endorsing Bernie Sanders next summer just like she ended up begrudgingly backing Barack Obama in 2008.

True, but this is sort of unprecedented (where such a high number of the electorate essentially thinks you're a liar), though, and certainly not a good sign for Hillary. That's difficult to overcome. Perhaps she'll be able to, but this doesn't look good at this point.

Anyone making firm predictions about who will be President in 2016 - is way too early. I remember last election when all those old posts were brought front and center when Obama won AGAIN.
Yet there were "firm predictions way too early" in the last election, why not now although I agree anything can happen in the next two days let alone the over one year away we are from the Election.

This point is months ahead of the first primaries and more than a year away from the general. If Hillary gets the Dem nomination, I'm sure the GOP will never stop whiing about the email issue throughout the campaign.
My prediction is that it sells well with the right wing who wouldn't vote for her anyway. But the rest of the public will be bored to tears by the GOP accusations that won't be followed up by anything but hot air. Benghazi all over again.

We'll see.
All possible. But, I note, that there wasn't really any allegation of lawbreaking with Benghazi (at least as the story was initially run), but rather incompetence largely. The FBI was never investigating Benghazi. But, note, Hillary and Obama were both able to "laugh" off Benghazi as some sort of GOP-manufactured issue, but Hillary, despite trying to pull the same think with emailgate (and failing miserably as her negatives continued to increase) has since gotten more serious with this email server issue.
And, note, to have such high numbers on this issue means that the problem is much greater than just Republicans not trusting her.
