Expectations that he's just another Obama do nothing socialist? Nope, Carson actually has a spine and common sense, unlike Obama.

Oh, what a horrible thought. I don't think and certainly hope we won't see that ever again!

I'm listening to him right now. He is exceptionally intelligent and a great speaker. People really need to get off the "race" thing. Obama has fired up the "race" issue in order to cause discord among all of our citizens. I just heard Ben Carson talking about this and he is right on target.

Many blacks are already on board with Trump. My favorites of course are these 2: THEY’RE BACK! Women say ‘Donald Trump gives hope to black lives’ | The American Mirror

What people need to do is listen to Ben Carson speak and not think about his race. Yeah, I have known racists and, well, I best just leave it with that.

"Obama fired up the race issue"? Did he accuse himself of being born in Kenya?

I'm not sure where one is born has anything to do with "race". Per this article at the bottom of the page, he listed himself as being born in Kenya for 16 years. So, ah? Shock Poll: Only 29% Of Republicans Said Obama Was Born In USA; 40% Said Cruz Born In USA - Birther Report You do know that we have black Kenyans and black Americans and that both are of the same race? Just not sure what you are trying to point out. Obama's mother was white and being from Kansas, whiter than white. I currently live in KS.

He has been trying to be "black" which we all know he isn't. Bi-racial isn't black. He is an embarrassment to both races and has been from the get-go. Roll model not!

Ben Carson is a roll model for everyone that might be living in poverty. That he is black makes it a little better since not a lot of blacks, although there are many worthy roll models, get "showcased" the way being a nominee for president gets it done. If he ends up going no where with a nomination, he'll still have gotten his message out there.

I think there will be a place somewhere in government for him but not president at this time.

I always wanted to see Colin Powell run for president.

My best friend of more than 40 years is black and you don't even want to mention Obama to her. She is not a supporter. Got to call her and see what she thinks of Ben Carson, like I already don't know. Daughter and wife of a minister............

obama did not list himself as being "born in kenya". that error came from mariam goderich in a promotional booklet for the literary agency acton & dystel:

Don't your energy with birthers. No matter why you show them Obama was born in Kenya.

On the other hand when you tell them that they can't prove Trump is the son Trump's mother having sex with an orangutan, they quickly change subjects. Have you seen Trump's birth certificate?. All fake, a bad Photoshop job.

I would like him a lot more if he dropped that religious bible-thumping BS rhetoric out of his speeches and talking points.

Carson has some odd views on guns. People in the country can own guns, but not ones in the city? People supporting him must research this more.
