Indeed it was the Blackberry. The Secret Service won't let the President directly use communication devices & accounts where it doesn't have control over the back end servers. Obviously this for all kinds of security reasons.
No doubt if Trump is elected, as is looking more likely, his twitter access will be highly limited.

So, the new reason that Trump shouldn't be President is he might insult others on his Twitter account? I doubt he'll have time to do that once he gets busy with his new position as President of the United States.
I have a hard time keeping up with Obama. Have we lost freedom of speech? Yes, I know it is in the Constitution but, Obama, for some reason, has not a shed of respect for that documents and has worked so hard over the last about 7 years to take away rights of our citizens.

Unlike Hillary Clinton, I don't see any reason that Trump would simply ignore mandates, rules and regulations covering security of the federal government.
The Secret Service isn't going to allow Trump to directly use twitter. Just like Obama had to give up his Blackberry.
