CNBC published its survey of corporate big wigs today. Among the questions they asked is who will will the respective primaries. In spite of all the hoopla over Trump not a single one picked Trump as the winner. The same goes for Sanders on the other side. Who did they pick? Bush by about 70% and Clinton by about the same percentage. I have to agree. When all is said and done, the establishment candidates will be on our ballots. The wealthy still own our political processes.

Trump and Carson, who are ahead of Bush in most polling are both unelectable. So Bush is the heir apparent when the two of them fall from favor. I don't know if it is about money or is just sharp political acumen. It's all too obvious where this is going.

Both. Money matters - too much, IMO. But it doesn't change the underlying fact that getting enough votes to be elected president requires centrist positions on most major issues.
Americans like to cheer for the underdog and that is what the polls are saying ! Getting one of them elected is an up hill battle.
Being a great country was never good enough for the corporate big wigs. It interfered with maximizing their profits. To reduce the influence of a world power it is necessary to consolidate the power and control it through international corporations, which are design to operate best in a world without borders. Thus no country will be distinguishable from another and government will be reduced, in turn, to only act as the enforcers for the corporation. Which according to the history of how policing began brings it back to the original design and purpose. The world divided into Tax Farms should provide enough literature to make William Shakespeare envious. More intrigue than the rein of King Richard III. Corporate cannibalization will eventually bring about a hand full of elite rulers who will manage the Tax Farms through police force.
Or maybe that plan goes off the rails through unknown, unforeseeable events. None the less it is now the politicians who want to revolutionize the way we live to bring about the non elected ruling class.
I agree, but at the same time Biden may have a chance. A big chunk of Sanders supporters just want someone besides Hillary, and Biden could be that. And also don't count Ted Cruz out. I have a feeling that the big wigs may see Cruz as a viable alternative to Trump: not crazy enough to be unelectable, but still far enough away from the establishment to get Trump supporters to his side.
The difference between the two is when Cruz finally calms down and talks, he isn't nearly as bad as people make him out to be, while Trump is always a prick with zero common sense.
