Joe Biden's son, Bo, passed away from brain cancer 5 months ago. His dying wish was for his father to run for President.

How much does Joe Biden really want to be President? He hasn't surfaced yet as a potential candidate, but he'll be announcing his decision soon.

I suppose he's not likely to win, but if you were him, would you fulfill your son's dying wish, and invest the millions of dollars needed to run even if winning is unlikely?

That is not a valid reason for running and Joe knows it. If he does run it will be for other reasons in addition to his son's wish. I am not a big fan of his but he certainly makes more sense to me than H.C. or B.S.

No, not really, but Joe should do it if he really wants to.

Biden will only enter race to save King Hillary's ass by stealing votes from Bernie. If he had really wanted to be President, he would have been in race months ago. I'm doubtful that he can even get on the ballot in some states.

(Meanwhile, it's being suggested in the National media, that the entire "death bed" wish of his son, was made up by Biden._

Possible, and if so, Joe's thinking is muddled, therefore not the best Presidential candidate.

Whether he decides to run or not, this information casts an unfavorable light on him after the initial feeling of empathy.

If he runs, people will question why he's running. And will not garner any "empathy" votes because that's not how rational people vote.

If he doesn't run, people will wonder why his son's dying wish was so publicized if Joe had no intention of honoring it.

I think it was something that I would have kept private. And, no, it is not a good reason to run for POTUS. We don't want to be fulfilling family wishes, we need someone that with all their spirit wants to bring our country back from the place that Obama has taken us and then continue to fix all the other boo-boos the others have done.

Don't know if Biden has his heart in it. Remember, he lost is son. (Very emotional) I don't think enough time has passed for his grieving.

I'd be very disappointed if he was elected.

I seriously any of what Biden has said about this is true. "Dying wish"? I don't believe it for a second.

That said, I'd rather see Biden as the dem nominee so long as he doesn't pick Fauxcahontas as a running mate.
