There's no way... he has to have at least a majority of delegates in 5 states to begin to sway... and I don't see that happening.

But he should stay in... we're sending money, and we want the message to continue.

Precisely! This is a very good thing for Ron Paul. He's out debated McCain before so I think we'll be in for some interesting TV shortly. Ron Paul is simply much sharper than McCain.

One can hope that Huckabee runs out of money soon (he actually has very little right now) and drops out so as to be less of a distraction as well (yes, yes, I know this is what a lot of people hope of Ron Paul too - but I doubt he's going away anytime soon with more cash on hand than any other candidate).

If anything else, with three contenders in the race, Paul should command more attention from the media whores. I doubt that will happen, unless Paul starts to make some serious inroads with amount of delegates between now and after the next round of GOP caucuses/primaries. I agree with twojciac that it's a tall order to sway the convention, but if Paul hangs on through the convention he will hopefully bring along with him hundreds of delegates spread across the country..you know he'll bring with him his ever present vocal supporters. However, Paul has to personally step it up despite the media shutting him down. He has to take the spotlight by just about any means possible.

If Huckabee drops out first leaving just the two, look for future debates to be cancelled due to McAmnesty's "schedule conflicts"

Anyone else think Ron Paul looks like Fred Astaire?

Good point. In fact if it's just Paul and McCain left the whores in the media will declare McCain the nominee and pretend that Paul didn't exist. (no rolling eyes here) I hope Paul proves them wrong

In that case Dr. Paul can have a two hour TV spot to talk about his views uninterrupted. You can bet those schedule conflicts would disapear if that wee the case. BTW when is the next GOP debate?

My shoe is much sharper than McCain.

I like it. If Hillbilly can BS on the Hallmark channel...then Paul can put some sense in the campaign. I think he should seriously look at that option. Then again he may be saving his money for a third party or third candidate run.

Next option for the "mainstream" media:

No more debates, citing "lack of interest" among executives to air said debate. Ron who?

Sad It really is.
