He is acting like he really doesn't want to run: he could have announced, but didn't, he knows he isn't going to be the front runner and knows how gruelling the campaign is, especially at his age. Maybe not wanting run isn't the correct, maybe being realistic is closer to his thoughts.

Yup, and he has waited this long, why wouldn't he wait a week for the next Bengazhi kangaroo court hearing to see how she come out of it? He knows that he'd ultimately lose the nomination to Hillary unless her currently dominant position in the primary races erodes substantially and immediately. That's my feeling. I would love for him to run, however. Sanders and Biden both bring authenticity to the middle class issue, and that will ultimately be good for Hillary if and when she gets the nomination.

You forgot to add "yet". Let's see what happens on Halloween; most pundits seem to agree that would be the true drop dead date to get on the ballots in the early states.

the controllers come out- leave people alone!- so he lost YOUR vote OK fine so? It has been painful for this guy and only he knows if he can stand the pressure or NOT- I lost a son 7 yrs ago- and I did much better then- now that I am older-- not sure Id handle it as well- He is smart, he is giving himself time- I bet he still cries at night - he has had it very rough-and being in DC adds A LOT of pressure - more than you or I will ever know

I agree. I had read that if he declared his candidacy at any time yesterday that CNN would allow him to debate. Anyone not serious enough to declare their candidacy should not be allowed to debate. He has sat on his hands too long on this. This "Well I don't know if I want to run."? We are talking about a huge committment and we need people who are seroius and know they want the job. I remember he didn't want to accept the VP slot from Obama but did anyway.

So? The Democrats are acting like he's the Savior who will keep a Democrat White House next year. He already ran before and didn't do all that well. What makes you think he's going to make a difference now?

If it were me, I would be worried about pressuring someone who's not ready into running.

With Hillary still on shakey ground, the Dems were wanting Biden as a backup. The party doesn't seem to want Hillary and they did "dupe" her in 2008 when it looked like she would be the choice and she just ended up having to endorse Obama.

I agree that trying to pushing or even having to push a candidate into running for POTUS is just not the best idea in the world. Not a lot of people want to hire someone for a job if the person isn't sure they really want it.

I agree. If he suddenly says, "Surprise!" and comes out smiling from this point forward, he would lose my vote if I were still a Democrat. It is not fair to the voters.

Oh, I don't know, maybe all of the head-to-head polls where he has consistently been destroying just about any GOP candidate?
