Simple, look at his voting record, he tends to go against much of what the establishment support.

He has been IGNORED for 3 decades. To be part of the "establishment", I guess you have to be part of the machine.

It is OFFICIAL!!! Joe Biden in in.

This will totally destroy Hillary's campaign. Everytime she washes Barry's balls by saying what a good job he did, it will be an endorsement of Joe Biden.

Look at his historical record, he's predominantly done his job of representing his constituents and not just falling in blindly along political lines. He's been an elected rep, not an appointed yes-man party line type.

Establishment types are those that bounce around their party getting various appointed jobs, key RNC\DNC roles etc etc. Cheney and Hillary would be classic examples.

He's got a strong civil rights background, he opposes the patriot act, opposed the Iraq invasion etc etc etc.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders

Might not like his politics but he's got a long track-record of being his own voice on topics and tenure in the political process does not automatically mean you are part of the establishment.

That's bad for Hillary and a clear sign that Biden (and others) sense weakness.

Biden could easily carry a big chunk of the black vote in the dem primaries as there is bad blood between Hillary and that voting segment from 2008. If so and the fact that Iowa sees through Hillarys folksy fakery....once she tanks in Iowa, the fair-weather supporters are going to jump ship just like in 2008.

Hillary still comes out on top even if Biden is in the race. Besides, I'm pretty sure she's been preparing for the event that he jumps in, and most voters don't even want him in the race after Hillary's spectacular performance a few days ago. She will not sit by and let 2008 happen to her all over again.

Cool, then the demos will have their choice between an antique socialist who wants to raise taxes to 90%, a lying murderess, and a drunken old pervert, who also excels in lying....
..and, if the old pervert does decide to run, his highest poll numbers will be on the day he makes the decision, from there on it's all down hill, once they stated vetting the lying old fool. His miserable life will be picked apart and disposed of in the trash..

Joe is the backup plan for the Democratic establishment if Clinton doesn't shed the Benghazi/Email bruhaha. Bernie can never win in a general election and Democratic political leaders know so. It is noteworthy that none of Obama's money people (bundlers) have come down on Clinton's side. They are all holding back. Some where before the end of October the Democratic Political heads will either go with Clinton or tell Joe he has to run. It's all calculated to bring the candidate with the best chance to beat any Republican the GOP finally end up with. Nothing personal, just political business. If Clinton would have bombed during the debates, Biden would have announced by now. If Goudy and his Committee release more incriminating evidence that goes against Hillary, Joe will step in.
Ironically, the GOP fears Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee and would much rather face Clinton in a general election.

You got a link to the official announcement that Joe Biden is running or are you just blowing the usual smoke?

"spectacular"? She was average in a love fest in which the candidates were instructed to be nice and not say anything bad about the others. It was a dog and pony show..

If you are calling Joe biden a drunken old pervert, You are slandering the good name of an individual . I suggest you place your Drunken old pervert handle on the ex Conservative, Evangelical Republican speaker of the house, Dennis Hastert who just took a guilty plea for exactly what you're accusing Joe Binden of being. Or else you looked in the mirror for a reference to Drunken old pervert when you posted this.
