It's getting harder to see Bush, but I would not rule him out yet. Rubio looks to have a better track. Bush would benefit if he gets his brother out there with him. George has so much of what Jeb! is lacking and George is surprisingly popular with Republicans. On the other hand, those images could hurt him should he get to the general. I've picked Cruz as my darkhorse. He can win the nomination if the Republican conservatives really are conservative like they say. From their warm support of Trump, that has to be really called into question, though.

Honestly I think trotting out his brother would hurt him. The sight of Dubya screams 9/11, Iraq War, tax cuts for the rich, and astronomical government spending. He appeals to neocons who want to play chess all over the planet and diehard Republicans who have no one else to vote for.

I'm disappointed because I thought the thread title was "Trump loses his head in Iowa". Now that would be a story.

I. Can. Not. Stand. Trump.

I would vote for Hillary first.

As I said in the topic on this exact same subject, the real test for all candidates will be South Carolina. This includes Carson, Trump and even Bernie Sanders.

If any of the candidates lose SC, they will be seriously wounded.

I don't know why anyone gets worked up or excited over Trump or Carson, there is no way in hell either one of them could beat Clinton in a general election. She's the most qualified by far and besides her embroiled email scandal has not said or done anything even remotely as offensive as both Carson and Trump do on a daily basis.

At least with Trump running on the "business man" platform, I kind of understand how he could be qualified to even run for president, but Carson is a retired surgeon? No expertise in Business or Politics or elected office, what makes him qualified? The same people who back Trump and Carson were the ones who cut down Obama for having minimal experience in the Senate, but at least he'd held elected office, go figure.

Because they have NO idea how the political process works and don't understand that nominating Trump or Carson is handing the election to the Democrats on a platter.

They'd rather support a guy who says every rude thing that comes into his head or every dumb thing that comes into his head. 'Cause they think that's awesome.

The Democrats KNOW that winning is awesome.
