Thanks for acknowledging that point.

Fact of the matter, just like the private sector, technology has eliminated a chunk of jobs that used to support a company or office or department.
Now for avoiding my second point.........

Here's his website:

Link to me where he uses the word "promises". I'm not having your strawman so you better link to where he implicitly states it.

What point? Military accounts for 30-33% of the loss in federal employees.... What accounts for the additional 66-70% loss?

How does "red tape" explain away the loss?

I answered your question in my previous post. The jobs were simply moved to the state level.

It helps me make more informed decisions.

You see, I don't blindly believe rhetorical talking points, especially when they sound too good to be true la what Bernie Sanders is trying to spew to dupe voters. I research the issues and find the truth. That way, it's much harder for politicians to manipulate me and my vote. Shouldn't we all be that way? Wouldn't that make this a better country? Wouldn't that make politicians more accountable to the electorate?

I'll quote a Dem elite on their voter base... "the stupidity of the American voter" - Gruber.

Bernie's platform positions are prefaced with variations of... "As President, Bernie Sanders will..."

How is that not a promise?

So then why have state jobs declined after the 2008 economic crisis and never returned to pre-crisis level?

It could someday rise to those peak raw levels again with population growth but it hasn't. Total government employees are slightly above 2001 levels now but they are increasing as population increases.

Because it would say "promise". Do you know what a "promise" means? It seems conservatives have completely misused the word.

I can't believe this communist is trying to tax the American people 25% sales tax! It's probably more like 50% but when he gets elected it will be 75% or maybe even 100%! He's going to tax Americans everything they make and then send them to work camps and he and Putin will be basking in the sun laughing at us while they hoist the communist flag over the Capital building! Where's Trump when you need him? Our freedom is gone! We are doomed!!!!!

It means you WILL do what you said you would do. That's what Bernie's website says, various versions of... "As President, Bernie Sanders will..."
