When President Obama was running for president blacks voted overwelmingly for him and Republicans swore blacks voted for him because he's black and diminished the thought maybe they he was the better candidate for them. Fast forward to Ben Carson running for president, blacks are not supporting him. Does this shut down this race card debate.

The "race" debate is a made up thing....no one gives a flying rat's ass what color someone is.....as long as they can do the job.

No, but only because that race card was already shut down with white John Kerry and white Al Gore and White Bill Clinton winning the black vote overwhelmingly

Blacks are supporting him at a far higher rate than other republican candidates. What are you talking about?

If Carson were to become the eventual Republican nominee, experts think he could pull as much as 25% of the black vote, which would be unheard of in modern politics for a Republican candidate running for president.

Obama got 90% of the black vote so Carson should be pulling in more than 25% if he is the nomination

Well, It could be because he holds folks to a much higher stand..because he was able to make it..so by Carson's reasoning..WHY CAN'T those other's//attitude!! So..for voter's it indicates clearly..Carson has no interest beyond his particular "Religious Doctrine" to rule his life..and IF elected to rule the rest of America...

I'm reminded back when JFK ran..Pundits/journalists/ other politicians worried how he would run the Federal Government and decision to adopt or reject bills coming to his desk..wondering if his RELIGIOUS BELIEF would affect his decisions?? JFK was the first Catholic ever elected as POTUS....the rest is history..

Go read twitter and see what any of the black lives matter folks say about dr. Carson, or even the most racist CNN / MSNBC commentators such as Mellissa Harris Perry say - their support for a black candidate stops when that candidate is unwilling to allow the black community to hold itself to a lower standard than the rest of society through their victimization.

People voted for Obama for the color of his skin and not the content of his character. Ben Carson has a sterling character and there is nothing wrong with his Seventh Day Adventist faith, it's a big plus for him in my book.

Blacks voted for Obama because they thought he was going to make their lives better. Blacks with common sense will vote for Carson.

The young voter voted for Obama as well as the majority of blacks. Neither group got what it wanted. Now we have

another black candidate and I highly doubt he will get the black vote.

Carson is also against women's rights and I also doubt he will get their vote.

The problem with Carson's religion is that he has already stated he will follow the doctrine of his church.
