im cool with that,I personally hold that opinion of most Democrats, but the argument from the conservatives on this thread seem to suggest they have followed this election and actually know the platforms of this race.

Which is exactly why I said Jack Conway must be a bad candidate, 2 down ballot elections where Democrats won got more Democratic votes than him, 60,000 and 50,000 more votes to be more specific.
I think having this Tea Party gov will do much for Democrats next year. The voters, who only came out by 30%, will get a taste of what it is like when they get their health insurance repealed and they usher in radical conservatism. I think Kansas has learned their lesson.
It is also a very off season election, I wouldn't be surprised if it had an extremely low voter turnout.
Houston had the highest voter turnout in over a decade. People didn't like the ordinance and more than that ..... they HATED the way it was crammed down their throats. The attack on Church sermons and Hollywood/Clinton/Obama telling them how to 'go potty' was what finally galvanized them to vote this down.

Okay, it wasn't really anything I was paying attention to beyond it being mentioned a few times on this site. I don't live in Houston, so I don't usually care what they vote for.
Though it can be sidestepped with unisex bathrooms.
When Obama was elected, there were 29 Democratic Governors - there are now 17.
He has devastated the Democratic Party in the States and in Congress.
