And how did putting Obama in office twice help us out, folks? Hillary is just gonna be a continuation. Leverage our votes, get into office, screw minorities. What's wrong with Carson?
What's good about him?

You must think black people are really stupid.

Nope and I have a lot of black friends. The problem is the group of blacks that have chosen to live their lives as victims verses victors. It's a way of thinking that needs changed. Same for white, Hispanic, insert any race here. This topic is about blacks voting for Carson.

What qualities are your looking for? A career liar that makes a living lying to people to get elected then turns their back in the people that put them in office by lining the pockets of themselves and the elite? Ahhh, your voting for Clinton. Yeaaaah.

What is your evidence that they live that way by choice?

You didn't mention any other races. You mentioned black people.

Yes, and you seem to think that black people are too stupid to figure out who to vote for on their merits.

Considering the amount of educational money, jobs and a significant amount of other government assistance programs there is no reason anyone shouldn't be able to get a college degree or training in a trade. Anyone who doesn't take advantage of these resources chooses not to.

The thread and topic was related to Blacks. If you read further you'll see where I expand to other races. If you search my posts you'll see I could careless about skin color and more about the thought process. If you lay around all day bitching that someone owes you something and do nothing to help yourself guess what your going to have tomorrow.

Three posts an not one of you choose to address my comments about changing how you think. All I read is how someone or somebody focused on blacks. Are they my best friend? What the hell kind of stupid question is that? It has nothing to do with getting anyone out of a cycle of being a poor victim. The topic is about blacks for Christ's sake.

So setting aside race, how do you propose "people" (white, black, purple or pink) in situations like a ghetto or trailer park make a sustainable living?

Mr. Obama is half Kenyan-American/half gringo who masquerades as an African American who appeals to African Americans - but not sure why: Obama has done much more for the 1%, the insurance companies and the military-industrial complex than for African Americans. In fact, what has he done for African-Americans besides masquerading as one?

You are asking the wrong question.

Your question should be, how can we be more sophisticated? How can we be more like corporations, successful businesspeople, and the Jews? How can we play both sides against the middle instead of putting all our eggs in one basket and remaining broken? How can we play both sides against the middle and use petty ideologies, partisan divide-and-conquer strategies, and cheap promises as a tool to fool the gullible, just like more sophisticated power groups? What is the definition of insane (We're falling for this again?)?

Those are the questions you should be asking.

Good Luck!

First, Mr. Obama's policies are policies that help the middle-class and aren't designed to help the top 1%. It is also ironic and hypocritical to condemn Mr. Obama for not eliminating income inequality, when the GOP has opposed every effort that Obama has tried to reduce inequality. We know from history that a higher minimum wage, organized labor and higher taxes on wealth reduce income inequality. These are the policies that Obama favors and the GOP stands in the way of passing.

Second, why should blacks vote for Mr. Carson just because he is black? Carson's stated policies are to eliminate social programs and cut taxes on the wealthy. As social programs favor everyone but the wealthy, it's not in the average black person's interest to support a candidate, regardless of race, who has those policy positions.

It would be like a middle-class Jews expecting to vote for the candidacy of Sheldon Aldeson, merely because he also is a Jew, even though he holds an economic view that is contrary to most middle-class Jews.

Raise the minimum wage.

Single-payer universal health care, so poor people can afford to stay healthy.

Increase spending on education across the board.

Raise taxes on capital gains and the top 1% of income to pay for it.
