He's toast.
Now the whole story of his violent past has come under fire.

So, as a Republican I won't back him. Hopefully. he will fade from view. Credibility is everything.

I guess that's why we have primaries.....It's all too bad. I was a big supporter.

It's sounding more and more like Carson's book should be listed in the fiction section of the bookstores, not in biographies.

I dont for the life of me understand why he felt the need to lie about West Point. He has a very compelling life story, without the lies. I think he is crazy as hell, but I could never take away his accomplishments, there was no need to embellish like he did.

I agree. I guess all those detractors that said he was not qualified to be the President have been proven wrong, since he has proven himself to be no better than any other elected official these days.

That was proven a long time ago when Nixon won two terms as POTUS.

Default #BenCarsonWikipedia

Ben Carson's latest inane comments have sparked a viral hashtag on social media: #BenCarsonWikipedia. Some of the funnier ones:

"All the stone inside the pyramids is petrified wheat. Duh. What do you think dinosaurs ate in the desert?"

"The Berlin Wall was erected because of the great popularity of racketball in Germany."

"The square root of any number is always four, because a square has four sides."

"Pharaoh built the Sphinx as a type of scarecrow to keep mice away from the pyramid grain silos."

"If dinosaurs had guns they may not have gone extinct."

https://twitter.com/hashtag/bencarso...fault&src=tren

What a shame that he traded in a distinguished career to become a laughingstock on the order of Sarah Palin.

He's only a laughing stock to you because CNN says so.

No, he made himself a laughingstock all by himself. Just like Palin did. Don't blame the media because they report the many asinine things they say.

I am no Carson fan but I would suspect that is an old story that got embellished over the years. It gets accepted and changed with the passage of time. Once he thought hard about it he knew better but it was an accepted part of his family lore.

I went back to the home and neighborhood where I grew up after being away over 50 years. I would never have recognized the place and it was utterly different than in my mind.
