They didn't ask Obama why he couldn't prove Obama Sr was his father in 1982, when Sr died. Sr should have been listed on Obama's birth certificate as his father at the time, but apparently wasn't.

The media brought it up. They also brought up the assumptions about him being born in Kenya, about him being a muslim, about him smoking pot, about him snorting cocaine, about his pastor, about his 'mentors', about his plan to create a "brown shirt army", about him building concentration camps, about him brainswashing children with sociaist agenda, about him taking our guns away, about him hating white people, about him hating America, about him destroying the military. To be honest there has never been a president who has been trashed more by the media than him. Where have you been?
If he can't handle fielding questions from reporters without a tantrum, he'll have serious problems when the Oval Office door closes and he has to perform. Putin would suck him up and spit out the shell like he was chewing a sunflower seed.
You have a problem identifying a melt down compared to telling the truth. Of course he is pissed, and he should be. The press did overlook a lot of what Obama said and claimed to have done or not done. This is not saying what Carson claims can be proven and it appears he did some embellishing .
Lets look at the West Point claim? if you really think about it, his only mistake or misquote was claiming he was offer a scholarship. instead of saying he was told he could get an appointment. Apparently it was suggested if he applied he could be sure of the appointment and I would guess this is true, but we all know military academies do not use the term scholarship. Yes, he did claim something that was not 100% accurate, but it wasn't an out and out lie in my opinion.

Ironically, this thread is about looking at Carson, which conservatives cannot do without whining about Obama. Someone needs to tell Carson this is not grade school.
It is 2015 with a national election a year away, and what are conservatives doing? Deflecting, making excuses and bashing Obama rather than taking a good hard look at their own candidates or what their plans are for the country.

There is a double standard. It has been shown over and over. You choose to ignore/deny it because it benefits your team.
Obama is being brought up because it wasn't long ago he was elected, and he is still in office. It's still the here and now, therefore comparable. Dems still bring up Reagan, who has been gone from office for nearly three decades.
That is, of course, not the case. Even a furriner like yours truly have heard of the colonial assemblies and the Continental Congress and while I would admittedly have to Google the exact names, Carson is clearly in the wrong here.
Again, ignorance is one thing. If Carson was never curious and never looked it up, fine. But if he wants to use something this easily fact-checked as the premise for an argument, wouldn't it behoove him to check it out himself?
And how many US States did Obama claim to have visited? Both Obama and Hillary have made gaffs and outright lies, but because they're democrats, that's OK.
This man is being grilled like none other on the left past or present! Meanwhile, Hitlery is treated with kid gloves as the Obummer was. If you asked Dr. Carson when he was most discriminated against in his lifetime, he would probably answer by the Demoncat main stream media during this campaign. The only good African American is a liberal left wing African American....give me a fing break.
