Good try, no cigar.
There is a double standard in saying Obama was not vetted enough, while saying Carson should not be vetted at all.

The questions about Carsons book are light-weight questions, and he needs to quit crying about it.

It appears that Carson may be a pathological liar. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.2426739

Why don't any of his stories in his books check out?

Maybe for the same reason no one is asking any candidate to prove their father their 'real father'. Are they asking Carson to prove who his real father is?

Carson first popped up on my radar during the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, when he retold the story of the Battle of Fort McHenry with "extra" details not found in any history book.

Carson: "As they came into the Chesapeake Bay, there were armadas of war ships as far as the eye could see. It was looking grim. Ft. McHenry standing right there. General Armistead, who was in charge of Ft. McHenry, had a large American flag commissioned to fly in front of the Fort. The Admiral in charge of the British Fleet was offended, said take that flag down. You have until dusk to take that Flag down. If you don’t take it down, we will reduce you to ashes."

There is NO historical record of British Vice Admiral Alexander Cochrane demanding the flag flying over Fort McHenry be struck. Secondly, when the battle commenced the large "Star Spangled Banner" flag which Francis Scott Key wrote about wasn't even flying. The original flag over Fort McHenry during the battle was a smaller 'storm flag'; it was taken down as the engagement waned due to both battle damage and improved weather, and replaced with the LARGER flag.

Carson: "Then there was a clearing and he beheld the most beautiful sight he had ever seen – the torn and tattered Stars and Stripes still waving. Many historians say that was the turning point in the war of 1812. We went on to win that war and to retain our freedom and if you had gone onto the grounds of Ft. McHenry that day, you would have seen at the base of that flag, the bodies of soldiers who took turns. Propping up that flag, they would not let that flag go down because they believed in what that flag symbolized. What did it symbolize? One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Pure fantasy and hype on Carson's part. The Star-Spangled Banner wasn't "torn and tattered" because it wasn't raised until after the bombardment had subsided and the British were retreating.

Also, Fort McHenry was defended by 12000 men; only 4 were killed during the battle. There's no historical record of the flagpole being damaged enough to require being held up by human beings, and even if it had it's very unlikely that Major Armistead, the fort's commander would have chosen to heap bodies under it in order to do so.

The Pledge of Allegiance that Carson mistakenly ascribes as being symbolic to the fort's defenders wasn't penned until 80 years after the battle, and it took yet another 60 years for the words "under God" to be added to it.

Any of the republicans would be better than the thing we have in the presidency now. Any of the republicans would be better than what the demorats are putting up. The media is so far gone left for so long that most of you poor souls will never see a glimmer of reality until it is too late for this country. What a bunch of nonsense, man made global warming, gay marriage, transgender this and that, this stuff belongs in a Ripley's believe it or not. Or some kind of some alternative reality in the psychotic delusion of a heroin addict. Don't mean to insult heroin addicts.

Obama released a copy of his birth certificate in 2011 listing Obama Sr as his father. The question is why wasn't that true on a copy of his birth certificate he could have obtained in 1982 when his supposed father died? Obama in his own book quoted his half-sister as saying only Mark could prove Obama Sr was his father. Why wasn't Obama Sr listed as Obama's father on a birth certificate Obama could have obtained in 1982, and why didn't the press ask him to clear that up?

Who would have been listed as Obama's father on a copy of his birth certificate issued in 1982? We already know from Obama's book it wouldn't have been Obama Sr.

Default Take a tour of Carsons house,Trump may not have the biggest ego

Well this is just getting sad now, he built a museum to himself, including a portrait of him and Jesus just hangin out. The media has got to keep digging, the best stuff is still out there.

Ben Carson's house: an homage to himself

Wow -I was just joking about him having a God Complex, something common among surgeons.

The picture with Jesus's hand on his shoulder is too much.

I guess with all the accolades over the years, having a movie made after your life's story, it shouldn't surprise anyone that he'd try to get elected POTUS even when unqualified.
