Ohio, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, then either get Colorado or Nevada.

Democrats have the electoral college turf and start with a huge advantage.

These 4 states swing between parties and carry enough electoral votes to put a republican over the top.

Ohio 18 votes.
Florida 29 Votes
N. Carolina 15
Virginia 13

That is 75 votes.

Then they will need to grab Nevada or Colorado to put them over the top.

With the Dems starting at around 240 votes this is a tall order.

The biggest issue is none of the candidates at this time have anything like a booming state economy or national backing that two of the last republican presidents did in Ronny and George. Both of these two guys came from large states with huge populations so they had a lot of media exposure. Also both appealed to the average midwest factory worker because of their straight talk. Do any of the current republicans fit this model?

Can someone emerge to carry these states.
