The OP asked for the most moderate candidate. Out of the individuals running who's more moderate than Hillary? She's the most moderate on the Democrat side and I would say kasich on the other side...

I consider your opinion of what I stated to be absolute vindication that my statement was correct.

Moderate means someone's who political views is between Conservative and Liberal with some overlap between the two. If you were to look on a political spectrum a moderate would be in the middle. You might be the only one who thinks Sanders is moderate. Other than his require position on guns (he needs this position to continue to be re-elected in Vermont), he doesn't have a moderate bone in his body. He's near the end of the political spectrum (Liberal, Lefty).

Eh, looking at the polls, we're calling those people "the one percent."

Hillary and Kasich, perhaps even Donald Trump. He's not a religious nut, favors higher taxes for the rich and single-payer healthcare.

We're talking about pretending, right? Because in the primaries even someone like John McCain tried to pass himself off as conservative and take a trip to "Crazytown" to get elected and it seems like Hillary keeps trying to out-lefty, Sanders on every issue to show off her socialist promises. After the primaries, the Republican candidate and the Democrat candidate will pretend to be moderate. So, if you are looking for a make believe moderate, like you looked for make believe conservative or make believe socialist in the primaries, you'll have to wait for the general election.

You opinion on my vote isn't worth much.

But for what it's worth, if Kasich gets the nomination, I would gladly vote for him. I would also vote for Chris Christie. I'd go for both of these men over Hillary Clinton as Kasich especially has a good track record in executive experience here in Ohio and Christie isn't all that bad out in NJ.

But you give me a nut like Carson or Trump or Cruz or even Rubio, and I won't consider any of them. Of the candidates mentioned above, Trump is the most moderate, but I don't think he has the temperament to be president and that he doesn't seem like he knows much about how governing works. Contrary to what many of you want, government cannot be run like a business.

This sounds like you fight the false war of Liberal vs Conservative. It's not an answer to my question.

His immigration ideas aren't moderate. His abortion beliefs used to be moderate, no longer. But with Trump, he's a RINO who no less than 7 yrs ago was an espoused Democrat, so you might have a point that he's a moderate in sheep's clothing.
