Families headed by an undocumented parent received only receive 20% of the total.

That's the costs. Now, for the benefits:
In a July 2013 report, the Institute On Taxation And Economic Policy found that undocumented immigrants in California pay more than $2.2 billion in state and local taxes. (That amount would increase by $327 million if the state's undocumented residents were legalized.)

Thus, the benefits outweigh the costs.
No they don't.

You're comparing the entire state to what happens in Los Angeles.

The only state taxes illegals would be required to pay are property taxes from owning real estate.

Yeah, that really happens.

At most they pay sales taxes -- which are offset by the federal and state income taxes they DON'T pay because they are working under the table.

Just who do you think you're fooling?

So what?

Talk about an irrelevant argument.

Did they come here illegally?

Are they taking American jobs?

Are they on welfare?

Are they committing crimes?

Xenophobic Trump seems hypocritical in that his fear of immigrants has produced him two of his three wives.

Donald Trump's rise shows how wacky the GOP has gotten. How cringeworthy. The patients are now running the asylum.

If you people are so stupid as to actually nominate this clown, then prepare to be defeated by Hillary Clinton next November.

She comes off as intelligent and presidential, he comes off as insecure and petty.

Your best hope is Marco Rubio, but he is no Obama and certainly no Hillary either.

So he didn't say it.

Glad you're admitting that you just made it all up -- as liberals and leftists do all the time.

Don't lecture me about facts.

You wouldn't know a fact if it bit you on the rear end.

I'm no liberal...but Trump certainly has been in favor of many liberal ideas, not to mention fascist and totalitarian ideas as well.
You are a liberal.

Only a liberal would accuse Trump of being fascist and totalitarian for being serious about enforcing our laws -- the same laws that all other countries enforce against illegal immigration.

Wake up. Sheesh.
I suggest you follow your own advice.

Nope. That's not how it works.

Quote:
This is actually commonly done..BUT far too often..sponsor's aren't able to be found IF any issues!! This is exactly the same issue..when someone co-signs for a lone..and voila..loan taker vanishes..and then it becomes problematic to track down the "Co-Signer".....
Huh?

Unfortunately for Trump//Sponsoring his foreign born wives..shouldn't be a problem..You have to know how he controls them!! He'd no doubt cut them off at the knees..if they ever ventured beyond his parameters!! LOL Kind of like Many Marriages, come to think of it!!
You sound like you need to write a mystery novel based on paranoia.

You should move down here to the states.

Living in Canada isn't helping you when it comes to commenting on U.S. issues.

Maybe we'll send 30 million illegals your way, and then see what you have to say about it.

Nyah-nyah-nyah!

Liberal arguments in a nutshell.

This is a very good post. David Axelrod was down here in the TB area last week and pretty much said this as well. Said Rubio is their best bet although he does have a lot in common with Obama, so he has that going against him.

If that is truly what you believe, that liberals hate this country, I feel sorry for you.
