Well, actually, many of the remaining birthers--and their numbers diminished greatly after Obama was reelected, so only the real hard-core lunatics remain (and there are a few of them right here on C-D)--believe that Trump's entire candidacy is nothing more than a vehicle to finally, finally, expose the president's fraudulent birth records, which Trump has been holding onto until he is in a position of authority to do something about. Then, bam! Frogmarching of the president straight to jail will commence.

Yeah, birthers really are that stupid.

As far as I am concerned if you can't produce a birth certificate that says "Made in America" then you should not be President. Cruz is a Canadian. Let him run for something there.

It does very clearly show that according to the Constitutional Convention, "born a citizen" and "natural born citizen" are NOT the same.

If they were the same, the language wouldn't have been changed from one term to the other after John Jay's letter to Washington.
