Someone needs to tell Obama to pull out of Syria. The King has proclaimed, "This Isn't America's Fight".
...
It's not. It's Europe's fight and they need to take the lead in it. Europeans have wheeling and dealing in the Middle East for over a 100 years and now the people they screwed over are coming back to avenge that meddling. If Europe wants support, then send the US a check to cover our expenses for doing so. The US needs to be a minimal part of NATO and pull their fleets out of region. Has anyone ever wondered why the American flag gets burned yet we never see a European countries flag getting burned? Think about it.
Then why did she sign off to to run guns for the Syrian and Libyan rebels if she doesn't want us involved? She's all over the place.
Whether or not we should be doing that might be a fair question, however I do think there is a bit of a difference between assisting in the effort/ offering support to the effort and taking a lead role in the effort, putting troops on the ground, etc.
Clinton: "20:08:43:00 Well, John I think that– we have to look at ISIS as the leading threat of an international terror network. It cannot be contained, it must be defeated. There is no question in my mind that if we summon our resources, both our leadership resources and all of the tools at our disposal, not just military force which should be used as a last resort, but our diplomacy, our development aid, law enforcement, sharing of intelligence in a much more– open and cooperative way– that we can bring people together.
Clinton: "20:09:18:00 But it cannot be an American fight. And I think what the president has consistently said– which I agree with– is that we will support those who take the fight to ISIS. That is why we have troops in Iraq that are helping to train and build back up the Iraqi military, why we have special operators in Syria working with the Kurds and Arabs so that we can be supportive. But this cannot be an American fight, although American leadership is essential."
If the numerous powerful militaries in the immediate vicinity won't lift a finger to oppose them, then it sure as heck isn't America's problem to solve. Saudi, Jordan, etc aren't doing a thing. And our "friends" in Kuwait and Qatar are bankrolling ISIS.

Let it bleed.
As the New York Times Editorial correctly stated today in "How to Fight ISIS:"
Quote:
President Obama struck the right note in his remarks on Monday: Military action can be only one part of a broader strategy that the United States and its partners will have to pursue over many years. Important Muslim nations, notably Saudi Arabia, will simply have to stop paying for and politically enabling the mosques, imams and paramilitary groups that fuel extremists and their virulent perversions of Islam.

Should more ground troops ever be needed, they should come from countries in the region with the backing of air power, intelligence, logistics and possibly other support from the United States, France, Russia and other nations.
