Guns are useless against someone with a bomb strapped to their chest with a dead mans switch. Anything else I can inform you on?

No kidding. I don't think any of these people have an original thought in their atrophied brains.

Trump wins, Clinton loses, if there is Paris type attack in the US.

"a" wall?

What about the other long, porous border?

GOP is the laughingstock......where do they get these candidates? Trump trumps Carson's blaming the victims in Oregon Community College shooting.

Exactly, Trump should tweet about what he knows best. Hotels, golf courses, beauty pageants.

Now let's take a realistic look at what happened in Paris, and see if armed citizens could have made things turn out differently.

You are sitting in a restaurant in Paris, with friends, enjoying some fine French wine with dinner.
Suddenly shots are fired through the window.
Your first thought would be to duck and take cover, not reach for a gun that you may be carrying.
In the time it would take to duck, and then retrieve your weapon, many could be shot dead.
I am not saying you would not perhaps be successful at killing one of the intruders, but it is highly doubtful you would even get the opportunity to use your weapon, because you would be hell bent on searching for adequate cover.
So arming the citizens in this particular situation would not have been successful.

Bob.
I am certainly not in favor of gun control in any way, but for him to say something like that shows how he blabs and then thinks or let's hope he thinks. He shoots from his hip (no pun intended) way too often. Of course this would have happened regardless of whether the people had been armed and how many people period run around with their guns 24/7.

Is there anyone who argues about knowing who is coming across the borders? No, but to say being armed by everyone whould have stopped this: that is different and that is what he said.
