REUTERS 5-DAY ROLLING POLL: TRUMP 36%, CARSON 14.6%, RUBIO 11.2%, CRUZ 7.9%... MORE...
Reuters Polling

The poll number for Trump tends to go up several percent when you filter for people likely to vote in the Republican primary (rather than just Republicans). Unfortunately, they didn't have a filter for that on these poll results. (At least not one I could find. They did report those numbers in their previous poll results.)

The Paris attacks and the issue with the Syrian refugees is helping Trump immensely. I predict that Cruz will continue to go up in the polls and surpass Rubio, if he hasn't done so already, for the same reason.

I'm waiting for the left to accuse Trump of being behind everything as Trumps Trojan horse and other things all have come true... unfortunately!

Romney also was right on many things 4 years ago but the uneducated voters don't pay attention and will only hear Bernie Sanders call for equality and in their mind that means everything for free!

It seems the polls show that the public doesn't want a President that almost hit his mom with a hammer.

I honestly thought Trump was too wacked out to get the nomination but fortuately I may be proven wrong, there may be just enough ignorant racist Tea Party white trash to put him over the top and hand Hillary the election! Go Trump!

Can't wait until the republican convention when Trump wins almost every state and Jeb is nominated.

IMO, the MSM has pushed Carson as a spoiler just like they did with Rick Santorum in 2012 in hopes of getting one of the establishment career politicians elected. But he is in the process of self destructing and IMO, his campaign will die in South Carolina.

What things was Romney right on 4 years ago?

I think you will be waiting a long time. For your edification, I have linked this article from 538:

Quote:
In reality, the GOP nominating contest will be decided by an intricate, state-by-state slog for the 2,472 delegates at stake between February and June. And thanks to the Republican National Committee’s allocation rules, the votes of “Blue Zone” Republicans — the more moderate GOP primary voters who live in Democratic-leaning states and congressional districts — could weigh more than those of more conservative voters who live in deeply red zones. Put another way: The Republican voters who will have little to no sway in the general election could have some of the most sway in the primary.
...
Romney and McCain’s advantage in blue states made it “all but impossible for their more conservative challengers to win the nomination,” Cohn wrote.
