And both aren't favorites outside of their circles.

Trump HAS to get moderates to his cause, I don't think he can, especially with Cruz.

Also Cruz is NOT gaining. His favorability nationally is still burnt from the debt ceiling fiasco two years ago. Ted Cruz Favorable Rating - Polls - HuffPost Pollster In fact, he had some of the highest unfavorable ratings since announcing his campaign.
Trump has more moderate support than people think. His calls for single-payer health care and higher taxes on the rich, and him not being a social conservative, appeals to many liberal Republicans, independents, and even some conservative Democrats.

Where do these stats come from, I'm willing to concede if you have true polls. The majority of Trump supporters are garden variety racist, bootlicking Republicans.

Falsely playing the race card. Gee how unusual. And your proof is.....?The best part of your hypocritical post is you don't see the double standard.

I wont vote for Trump but I have no problem exposing the race card playing hypocrisy.

Have you seen the posts and the rhetoric used by Trump supporters on Trump threads? Most of it is indeed garden variety racism and classic immigration based racism we have seen time and time again when Americans price themselves out of work and immigrants step up for any job and end up more employed than most Americans.

Donald Trump says If Nominated he would ask Ted Cruz to be VP

He should ask Clint Eastwood, the empty suit would be perfect with the empty chair.

Do you know exactly how much disdain Sen. Raffy has for Mr. Trump? Of course, he says nice things in public to ensure that he doesn't offend Mr. Trump's supporters, as Sen. Raffy is counting on getting those supporters when Mr. Trump inevitably drops out of the race or simply implodes (have you ever heard one candidate say "I absolutely love _____" about another candidate in the same race? That would be never).

But in private, his wife Heidi has seen Sen. Raffy's disgust and eye-rolling.
