I'm not all that surprised. The way he responded to media criticism about the West Point controversy came off as a major persecution complex, and made him seem feckless and un-presidential... Well, even more feckless and un-presidential.

Some of the others polls aren't so bad for Carson, but he's definitely dropped off. Meanwhile, Trump seems immune to controversy since so much he says is offensive and controversial.

He's not the flavor of the month anymore, that's for certain. But I think it has less to do with Trump and more to do with Rubio and Cruz moving up in the polls as people consider Trump alternatives.

It's all smokescreen to keep you guys glued to the tele and keep ratings up. Come Jan 2017, like it or not, your next president will be either Hillary or Jeb Bush.

Unless Trump or any other candidate has one heck of a plan to pick up voters and take them to caucus and bring them home again, I still believe Carson will win Iowa, like Huckabee and Santorum before him, because his voters are evangelicals and they show up to caucus. But, if caucuses are included (not sure if they are) in the proportionate distribution of delegates, Number 2 is good, too, if they're close.

It was only a matter of time. He may be a good surgeon, but his views were idiotic and he was very inarticulate.
