nope, because that would have had some contemporaneous evidence ( even tho not absolutely conclusive ) to support it.

trumps claim lacks any supporting evidence.

If he said 12 I would have still asked him to back up his claim, but I could at least grasp it. However, he didn't do that. He said thousands and thousands dancing in the streets of NJ. And then when pushed on it, he decided to double down on it.

Are Trump supporters really this stupid?

It is the same information that HAS been reported over and over. It's always been out there, still is, so there is no reason to say CNN couldn't find it. It is the same report that keeps getting regurgitated by Trump and his devotees as if it's new information.

There is NO evidence that Trump saw any such thing that he claims he saw reported, he lies.

It's not quibbling, truth and facts matter especially when it comes to something as serious as 9/11.

at his AZ rally trump claimed to have had 15,000 in attendance inside the venue. the venue capacity was only 4,200 and convention officials stop admitting at 4,169 and estimated another 1,000 were still in line. when confronted with this info trump claimed that the convention center officials were lying because they knew they were in violation of fire laws and that there were 15,000 inside the venue ( a physical impossibility considering the space ).

Cruz seems to be making a run in Iowa polls.....hopefully we can look back at the last several months as an entertaining yet a sad point in United States political history.

Well, the short-tempered, strategically shaven chimpanzee saw fit to attempt to make his point (what there was of it) using numbers.

I like the turn of phrase, though. You should try using it next time you buy a car.

- "I'll give you two hundred bucks for the Jaguar"
- "Sir, that fine vehicle lists at $75,000"
- "Well, now we're just quibbling over numbers"

Well, when he declares one hundred black pastors will endorse his campaign, we've seen how that comes out. Then again, remember: His faithful actually believe he has a net worth of $10 billion. Some of the people can be fooled all of the time.
