It surely was morally binding (otherwise, why would anyone bother), and it didn't have any caveats in the text about circumstances under which his pledge becomes nullified.

In fact, it was so effective that MMM05 dropped his support . . . for 10 days.

LOL. So your sapient sense has drawn you back into the Donald fold once again, huh? Aren't you getting dizzy with all the flip-flopping you're doing regarding your support/non-support/support/non-support of Trump? Not that anyone here is complaining, mind you. It's really amusing to watch.

Hey, I appreciate your work here, sir. I am particularly fascinated by your unconventional usage of capitalization.

I thought he said he would not run as an Independent, guess we know what his word is worth now.

My guess is he might try, and either way he would lose.

IIRC, Ross Perot's independent run cost over $60 million. I don't think Mr. Trump would cough up even 1/3 of that from his own pocket.

So, while I hope he does, I seriously doubt it.

and after pledging he would not run if not the R candidate, you can actually support him? OMG!!! Yes, we all knew he would find a way to get around his pledge, but this shows he can not be trusted to keep his word.

I'm not sure why it's even being discussed. It's looking like he will be the inevitable Republican nominee. He's been leading in the polls for months. As much as the Fox News crowd has been trying to rally up Jeb! and Rubio, I can't see them or Carson overcoming Trump's lead at this point.
