Oh for God's sake:

Trump blames Black Lives Matter activists for pressuring black pastors not to endorse him because he believes 'all lives matter' | Daily Mail Online

Quote:
Trump's campaign had issued a press release last week that read: 'Mr. Trump will be joined by a coalition of 100 African-American evangelical pastors and religious leaders who will endorse the GOP front-runner after a private meeting at Trump Tower.'
From the same article:

Quote:
On Monday, Trump said, 'I have no idea what the meeting is really. ... We'll see what happens. I don't know it it's an endorsement, I don't know if it's an endorsement by some.'
and let's not forget this gem:

Quote:
Earlier this month, a black protester was roughed up by Trump supporters at a rally in Birmingham, Alabama.

Trump said after the incident, 'Maybe he should have been roughed up because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.'

Remember when he said this in September?
Trump: If My Poll Numbers Fall, I'll Drop Out of Race

And then he said this in November?
Donald Trump says he’ll run independently if GOP doesn’t treat him ‘fairly’

He spins himself; he doesn't need any help.
Pitiful.
But...maybe all these stories are dishonest, hmmm?

Who didn't see this coming?

He's nothing, if not predictable.

Wow, Trump had to cancel his press conference because out of those 100 he couldn't find even one to attend and endorse him. His dreams of 100 black pastors serving as backdrop dashed by reality.

Wow, Trump really is a special kind of stupid. He still can't grasp that his mouth is his worst enemy, not the media, not liberals, not BLM, not "RINOs".

He was on (the phone) this morning on Morning Joe and opined the same thing that perhaps the BLM people might have 'gotten to them'. His expectation was still that the meeting was going to occur AND that he would get 'some' endorsements from them.

actually, i predicted ( in this or the other thread ) that trump would blame the media for intimidating the pastors. so the BLM blame is a pleasant surprise.

Weird - he says he'll be able to deal with China, Mexico and Putin but can't seem to arrange a meeting with a few pastors...
