[MOD CUT/copyright violation]

Perhaps no presidential candidate has the self-confidence he does, even in the face of some glaring flip-flops on his political positions. Where lesser candidates would dodge questions about why they've changed their mind or give a focus-group-tested line about how they evolved, Trump doesn't admit to ever having a different opinion.

For all of you Republicans (I myself am one) who like to throw out the RINO label, Trump is the textbook definition of a RINO.

I am not sure he even knows what he is: he is a Trumpican, that is all. I have no problem with people changing their party affiliation, many have: Perry, Reagan and several others, but none have financially given big bucks to the party they once belonged to, now have they switched sides so radially or decided to run on the other side, so soon after supporting the other side. these are just some of the reasons I can not dream of even voting for him.

The best thing is that Trump is so "middle of the road" since so many Democrats are candidate starved. He is able to pull from all demographics and that is an awesome position to be in. The Democrats don't have a chance if Trump is nominated and the GOP can't take the election without nominating Trump thus all this constant clatter of nonsense about Trump. Of course the Democrats don't want Trump to be the candidate.

Citizens that give a darn about the shape the country is in don't really care about how much money Trump donated to any party in past or that he doesn't match up perfectly to one party or the other, we care about our country and what we see happening to it and he is the only one that is addressing that and introducing possible solutions.

Who cares what the media or some other politician says about Trump? I think this constant bantering trash about Trump only makes his support stronger. We can see how silly the allegations and comments are and don't want to support whatever side that is making noise with such nonsense.

Trump is the leader of the "Trump Party" all Republicans, Democrats, Independents are welcome. I you can't get on board the "Trump Train" then get out of the way because this train is going forward. I heard a rumor that Hillary is tied to the tracks somewhere. So this train won't be slowing down.

No actual conservative would risk giving Trump the GOP nomination.

Personally, I think Trump is largely apolitical.

His history shows nothing consistent, just a general correlation with lavishing donations on those in power (which in New York would be disproportionately Democratic) and with his own self-interest.

I doubt he believes most of what comes out of his mouth. But the tinfoil nuttery that he's a 'plant' are the usual delusions meant to absolve modern conservatism from its own doings. Trump clearly knows exactly which buttons to push to bring out the racist, xenophobic base of the GOP that desires an angry bully who will rule with an iron fist - and he's pushing those buttons to serve his own ends. That said, I'm guessing even Trump is surprised by the boundless gullibility of that unhinged third of the Republican base that are his fawning toadies. I doubt that even he expected to be able to ride this crazy train for this long.

He's admitted (in pieces) to such from the past TV interviews I saw.
