I heard an interview where Ben and Candy Carson were discussing the new book: "A More Perfect Union" and found this link to an excerpt of it and it is quite impressive. Too many have dismissed Ben Carson over nothing but nonsense and saying that he is "just" a surgeon. Ah, no, he is brilliant and well-educated man that knows the history of our country and our Constitution which puts him ahead of many.

The excerpt is well worth the couple of minutes to read it: Excerpt: Ben Carson's 'A More Perfect Union' - ABC News

I actually like old Ben. He is very intelligent and has some good opinions. What I can't stand is someone who wants to use political office or opportunity to preach.

IF he really knew the history of this country he wouldn't have made the asinine statement that the ACA was worse for the country than the Civil War, WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, etc..

Sorry dude... Carson's 15 minutes are over. He's the Herman Cain of this election.

I also like Carson. He is a very smart and talented Surgeon and I think he has valuable ideas and opinions to impart, but he does not have the necessary skill set needed for the office of the President. I respect him and wish him well, but this is NOT the job he needs to apply for.
