... And Obama is indistinguishable from Republicans on the issue.
Obama's health plan is more sensible than Clinton's because it respects freedom of choice. Clinton's plan smacks of micromanagement of the health care industry. Notice how she has an answer for every conceivable problem that may occur. To you, this may sound good...that Clinton has "specifics" in her plan. But this is exactly its Achilles heel. Hillary's plan is reminiscent of Stalinist economic micromanagement of the 1920s and 1930s. Hillary's plan makes the hearts of Stalinists go a-flutter.

If there is anything we should have learned from economics, it is that the economy cannot be managed. And industries cannot be micromanaged to death. If you still think you can micromanage an economy, then all you need to do is look at the failure of Soviet economic planning. That's what you're going to get with Hillary Clinton as president.

You have GOT to be kidding. A plan that utilizes the free market is "Stalinistic?"

A government that allows big business total free rein (and reign) and no accountability in providing a life-and-death service is immoral.

It's amazing how Obama supporters truly are co-opting the rhetoric of the right.

Universal healthcare is a PROGRESSIVE policy objective. One that democrats have been waiting and fighting for an opportunity to FINALLY arise where the stars would align and find a democratic controlled congress, and a UH friendly president.

Nonetheless, even Hillary's plan RESPECTS "free market CHOICE" because those that want private healthcare can keep their plan, while those that want the government plan or can't afford private can choose the government plan. "Stalinistic" indeed! Socialist fear mongering by the usual suspects.

I'm afraid, however, that the opportunity WILL be squandered by "power broker" Obama should he win the presidency. A sad day for anyone who has healthcare a top priority. While we all care about "change" and "new blood" in Washington, or worry about the sematics of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton, a failed or less-than-comprehensive healthcare initiative means more Americans struggling, going bankrupt, or dying unnecessarily. More Americans than will die or will have died in Iraq.

Facts: Obama's plan would cost almost DOUBLE Hillary's plan per new insured citizen, and still leave 15 million + uninsured. A TERRIBLE PLAN.
