A pledge might not be legally binding but for honorable people a pledge creates a moral obligation. A pledge is a promise. It's okay with you if people around you just break promises? But some people have no morals, I know.

I don't. And I also don't think the RNC has upheld their end of the 'gentlemen's deal' with stories every day about backroom meetings trying to oust Trump. BUT - he said AGAIN at the debate that he will not run independent. Remember the moderator clapping at that????
