When Trump loses the general election, if he is the Republican nominee, will you blame yourselves for propping up a candidate with lower likability than even Hillary Clinton?
*Before any of you say "Trump won't lose", show me evidence to show that Trump could win. ANYTHING.
No one can show evidence of anyone winning yet. No elections have been held.
I'm not a massive fan of polling either (the Republican candidate is usually disadvantaged), but Trump cannot possibly win with a media hell-bent on dragging his name through the mud and exacerbating his every statement. Whether or not I like it, that is the truth. Beyond that, Trump has no substance. College educated people do not support Trump in large numbers.

I am a conservative Republican. I believe in lower taxes, limited government, fewer regulations, open trade, free markets, the pro-life position, state's rights, and America leading in the world. I have had it with Donald Trump and his racist rhetoric, socialist economic policies, and weakness and indecisiveness as it relates to foreign policy.
On several of the most important issues of our time, Donald Trump is not any different from Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. However, there are some differences that will cost Trump a general election. For starters, the majority of Americans, including Republicans, support a pathway to citizenship for those here illegally. Even those who take a hard line stance on immigration do not call Mexicans rapists, and almost no one polled supports deporting 12-20 million people. People oppose that idea because it would violate the 4th amendment rights of legal immigrants, force law enforcement to profile folks, and it would cost our country a minimum of $140 billion. Secondly, Donald Trump's call for tracking all muslims in the United States, and his call for shutting down portions of the internet, violate our constitution. The Republican Party has been the party concerned with constitutional principles, Donald Trump's nomination would give that issue to the Democrats. Trump's past comments about women also hurt him, as do his comments stating that a protester at one of his rallies deserved to be beaten. Add that to his suppression of a journalist at a press conference and you have a candidate made to lose a general election. Democrats and independents won't accept his stance on immigration. Republicans won't accept his stances on many economic issues. Members of both parties and independents reject his views on women and minorities. Donald Trump would not just lose the election, Hillary Clinton would win 38-40 states and probably around 60% of the popular vote.

However, wouldn't be the first time the person I voted for lost. I voted for Ron Paul as well and he didn't win.
Trump is the anti-Ron Paul. Ron Paul hasn't supported socialized medicine, economic stimulus, and bailouts of the banks.
And if Ron Paul was running this year I would vote for him. However hes not.
Rand Paul is. The three folks I mentioned are even closer to Ron Paul than Trump.
