It's going to be a four way race with Rubio and Clinton on the Republican and Democratic tickets, and Trump and Sanders running as independents.
A three-way race - Establishment (repubocrats might as well officially merge), independent Trump, and independent Sanders - would be ideal in terms of actual electorate choice, but Sanders is a putz and doesn't have the chutzpah to go independent.
That should be the main topic in this the elections sub-forum.
But back on topic in this umpteenth meaningless distraction thread of the hour, I agree with the poster who indicated that probably Christie would personally be better off finishing his second term of office as governor of New Jersey which ends, I believe, in December 2018, then see what happens after that.
I'm not a big Christie fan, but they have nothing on him for Bridgegate.
It was his administration and it cost the taxpayers $8 million dollars. Do you believe Obama when he claims he didn't know what was going on in his administration until he read about it in the papers?
Here come the drones. Hi Burdell. Wanna play google, huh.
Its not rocket science in the Lakes Region or the 5th grade where
you dwell..........
Your poll asked Americans their view on how other leaders perceived Obama. Burdell's was a Pew poll looked at the views from a foreigner's perspective. Burdell would seem to be more reliable from an international perspective.

Cost was because the dems went after him and caused this expense.
It's going to be a four way race with Rubio and Clinton on the Republican and Democratic tickets, and Trump and Sanders running as independents. No single candidate will receive the necessary 270 electoral votes, so the House will choose Rubio as our next president and the Senate will choose his running mate.
The way conservatives cling to the fantasy of a Sanders independent run is certainly entertaining. He has shut down all talk of it, flatly stating that he will do nothing to assist the Republican chances of beating whoever is the Democratic nominees - but conservatives continue to click their ruby heels together and believe it might happen.
Beyond that, the scenario you describe really ignores the history of American politics. In the event of both Trump and Sanders running as independents, you'd simply have Clinton and whoever is the Republican nominee taking all states, albeit with pluralities rather than majorities. There would be no throwing the election to the House.
I swear, most of the posters here act like they've never witnessed a Presidential election before.

I'm supporting Sanders and I hope to hell that if the (D)'s keep covering for Hillary and screwing him over that he changes his mind and runs third party.

Any thoughts on a Trump/Christie Ticket as a
"dark horse" possibility ?
A total disaster! They share no common views, both have big mouths, both want to be the center of attention and both would need a running mate from some other part of the country, probably the south or southwest.
