Polls may actually underestimate Trump's support, study finds - LA Times

...especially among college educated men who might be embarrassed to admit they support him.

Maybe they're embarrassed to support Hillary and her polls are undercounted?

Keep unskewing those polls, righties... It worked so well for you last time!

This doesn't surprise me. The people I work with would flip out if I told them I supported Trump. Instead I keep quiet and listen to garbage about Bernie/Hillary.

Outside of work I proudly support Trump, where money isn't at stake.

Unskewing the polls again? Worked well last time.
I'll plan on seeing conservatives surprised and red faced again when the polls turn out to be accurate...

I don't know. He was my number 1 choice and is no longer. I don't feel like I can trust him. I am bothered by the fact that he doesn't admit it when he is wrong or at least correct misunderstandings. I think that is risky business for a POTUS. I think we already have a POTUS that is close to that line of being holier than thou.

I think a lot of people are silent because they don't just go with the people who are louder with their support.

I would say "No." A lot of people when cornered by a supporter will agree with them in order to avoid confrontation. The same goes for anyone being polled.

I am hoping that Carson does well. I think the people that support him are more silent for a lot of reasons.

So, no. I think other candidates have started to skim off support from Trump. Until we see more of the candidates drop out, I don't think we'll really know where Trump stands. I feel most of the supporters of the other candidates will not support Trump when/if their chosen candidates drop out.

Does Trump Have Greater Support Than What Polls Show

Of course he does. When 10s of 10000s go to see him at a rally, where no other candidate can attract more than a few hundred, this speeds greatly to his real support.

I can't image someone being embarrassed to say they'd vote for Trump but not embarrassed to say they'd vote for Cruz or Carson. I think it's a wash.

I think a lot of people are in your boat.

Fortunately, no one asks me.

He may have. As much as I admire Trump for having the guts to tell it how it is, I still disagree with him and do not believe he should be president.

Simply, I am a fan of his, just not for president.

This is actually a very good point. People that are willing to take the time to listen to their candidate are probably more willing to take the time to vote. If you are not excited about the same old, same old, why bother voting. At least Hillary has her family to go to the polls!
