Evidence of what exactly?? There is no evidence to support his claim, none. There is this thing called the Internet out there, you would be able to find something to back his claim up if it were true. It isn't some conspiracy (another Trump claim) to keep his claim that he can't prove hidden.
There is a ton of evidence right here in the link provided. People denied the celebrations, and were proven wrong. Then they switched to small pockets of celebrations. Now we have cops, 911 operators and other witnesses reporting modest celebrations. The evidence keeps piling up. The only thing left now is to bring the rest of the evidence to light and go from proof of one thousand cheering muslims to thousands.

Actually, the "thousands and thousands" is exactly the point. I remember stories of a small number of Muslims celebrating, so it couldn't have been "shoved under the rug." What I don't remember is a huge Muslim outpouring of joy anywhere in this country. Because that never happened.
If you are a Muslim American, the difference between a few dozen and thousands and thousands is a big deal.
If one knows anything about youtube........things that were once easy to find have been taken down. I don't know how many videos have disappeared since Obama has been in office, but I can tell you many things are gone!

Thousands and thousands WAS the point. Had Trump said ~ hey, I saw a few Muslims dancing in New Jersey; people wouldn't even have heard him.
It was the thousands and thousands that ratcheted it up about ten notches. You should know the value of inflamed rhetoric; that is exactly what this was.
Bottom line, why are you still trying to defend it? It was not true then and it is not true now and no amount of trying to explain Trump's point of view will change that.
I think what many are missing, at least in MHO, is that whatever number Trump used. There is certainly far more awareness of the fact that there were muslims, and perhaps others, openly celebrating on that day.
You can argue numbers all day long, while you do the arguing, you're admitting that he is, in some fashion correct in his assertion (the point being) that the enemy is among us.......and probably in far greater numbers than there were 14 years ago due to the open border policies both R and D administrations have allowed to continue since then.
Trump is right, Trump is effective on getting the message out. His number might be exaggerated, but you're all talking about it, and therefore aware of it......Heck, a lot of you (on both sides) have even done some independent research on the issue.
Trump is driving this election cycle.
