Cruz parades his little blonde white girls around like trophies to show he is "one of you" to the right wing crowd. It is a despicable practice and he deserves to be ridiculed for it. But his kids can't help it that their parents are losers who are using them for political purposes.

1. I do not feel that newspapers, etc., should ever attack the young children of politicians.
2. I also do not feel that politicians should feature their young children in blatant political ads (when I viewed said ad by Senator Rafael Edward Cruz, born in Canada, I was rather appalled at what he was having his daughter say).
I recognize that at times a politician will run a television ad saying "I am a family man; here is my wife and children; vote for me", which is totally appropriate.
3. Nevertheless, the engagement of No. 2 does not excuse the behavior of No. 1.

I can't believe that the person who tried to claim that watched the commercials. Until I saw what Cruz had done I didn't even understand why they were mentioned. I thought they had just been around him. Nope daddy turned them into a active participant in the political process, and thats disgusting.
It doesn't in any way forgive or excuse the news from involving them, but rather says a lot about Cruz.

BS. Michelle and daughters were never portrayed as monkeys in a political cartoon in a major American newspaper.
