Obama and Russ Fiengold law.

The Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007 (Pub.L. 110-81, 121 Stat. 735, enacted 2007-09-14) is a law of the United States federal government that amended parts of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995. It strengthens public disclosure requirements concerning lobbying activity and funding, places more restrictions on gifts for members of Congress and their staff, and provides for mandatory disclosure of earmarks in expenditure bills. [1]

Lugar-Obama initiative signed into law

The Lugar-Obama initiative, authored by U.S. Sens. Dick Lugar and Barack Obama, was signed into law by President George W. Bush. The Lugar-Obama initiative expands U.S. cooperation to destroy unsecured, lightweight anti-aircraft missiles and other conventional weapons, and expands the State Department’s ability to detect and interdict weapons and materials of mass destruction. The State Department estimates that as many as 750,000 man-portable air defense systems in arsenals exist worldwide and that more than 40 civilian aircraft were hit by such weapons since the 1970s. Loose stocks of small arms and other weapons help fuel civil wars, and attacks on peacekeepers and aid workers. The Lugar-Obama initiative is modeled after the Nunn-Lugar program that focuses on weapons of mass destruction in the former Soviet Union.

Coburn-Obama Transparency Act

The Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (S. 2590)[1] is an act that requires the full disclosure of all entities or organizations receiving federal funds beginning in fiscal year (FY) 2007 on a website maintained by the Office of Management and Budget. This bill was introduced by Senators Tom Coburn and Barack Obama on April 6, 2006 and passed unanimously in the Senate on September 7, 2006 and was passed in the House on September 13, 2006. The bill was signed into law by President George W. Bush on September 26, 2006. In August 2006 there was a "secret hold" on the legislation placed by Senators Ted Stevens[2] and Robert Byrd.[3] The Congressional Budget Office estimates S. 2590 will cost $15 million over its authorized time period of 2007 - 2011.[4]. The website USAspending.gov opened in December 2007 as a result of the FFAT act of 2006.

Obama joined Chuck Hagel (R-NE) in introducing legislation to reduce risks of nuclear terrorism. A provision from the Obama-Hagel bill was passed by Congress in December 2007 as an amendment to the State-Foreign Operations appropriations.--------Does this really count?

In addition:

He wrote and sponsered many bills with republican and democrats, but they shouldn't be included because they didn't become law.

Obama has only been a United States Senator for two years? Gee. That's not much time at all.

What companies has he run? What has he been in charge of? Was he ever in the military? Peace Corps?

I know Obama was in the state legislature, but for how many years? What was he in charge of?

Sometimes, you learn more from your failures. What have Obama's major failures been?

Well, here is Hillary's page on Votesmart.org: Project Vote Smart - Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton - Biography

Here is Barack's page on Votesmart.org: Project Vote Smart - Senator Barack H. Obama Jr. - Biography

This website used to have links to all bills that were authored by the various candidates, but I can't find it now... ??? It's not the simple website it used to be to use!

Here's where all the bills are hidden -- but there is a ton of them!! THOMAS (Library of Congress)

Those are the most important! If Congress didn't like them as a Senator, don't you fear that he will try to put them back in as President? Actually, this is not a slam against BO, but simply a question regarding all candidates.

Even better, let's just vote for Obama because he gives a better stump speech! Why even bother looking at records?

Then, let's make Oprah Winfrey VP, Bob Deniro Attorney General, and Simon Cowell Secty of Defense.
