These interviews tell the story far better than I could.

In this one Trump praises Hillary Clinton and the job she has done in government. He dismisses the Benghazi problem and says she will overcome it. His latest attacks on Hillary Clinton seem completely offbase in light of these earlier statements.

In this one, he refused to take the pledge that he would support the eventual nominee of the republican party. Now, he says that he will. Are you comfortable taking his word for that?

In this one (from 2004) Trump says the democrats have done a better job with the economy than the republicans have over the years.

In this interview, Trump says that Bill Clinton was his favorite modern President. (better than George W. Bush)

This probably won't surprise many people who have followed the campaign. However, Trump makes it very clear here that the invasion and occupation of Iraq by GWB was a mistake. He wishes we had the money back to invest in infrastructure in this country.

That, my friends, is a summary of the man who according to the polls has a 15 point lead over his nearest challenger for the republican nomination.

One has to ask: What exactly has become of the GOP in this country?

Hopefully, we will see more erudite replies to this than "'Anyone is better than Hillary".

Indeed. And......

Of course you leave out the point he made when he said that. That would be that Hillary Clinton voted for the war in Iraq. She's as bad as Bush. (Truth Told)

If you truly wanted to have an objective discussion, you would have said this.

Obviously this is a "I don't like Trump"- because I love King Hillary topic.

Most Trump supporters are independents. And, most people should realize Clinton was the best of the last 4 presidents. I much prefer a candidate saying that rather than avoiding the question or coming up with some obscure rationale why one of the Bushs was any good. Of course, that has no bearing on how a Rodham presidency would turn out,

Trump is being honest. He was right then and is now. Our country would've been far better off with Hillary as president in '08 than with Obama, and Benghazi was a pathetic attempt by Republicans to blame Hillary for it, when only the Islamics are to blame. Will people blame Bush for 9/11 as well, since he ignored threats as late as August '01?

REAL Republicans and authentic Conservatives do not support Trump. Only the gullible believe what he says. The man has no substance whatsoever.

Former Secretary Hillary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy,” Bush said in a statement. “These efforts as a citizen, an activist, and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this year’s Liberty Medal.” Jeb Bush

Upon the announcement of Clinton’s award in June, Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft wrote, “Really Jeb, no one else came to mind?”

Jeb Bush to Award Hillary 'Liberty Medal' on Eve of Benghazi Anniversary - Breitbart

Jeb Bush gave her the award on September 10th, 2013, the eve of the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States mission in Benghazi.

Now what were you saying about Trump?

What part of: "Doesn't seem to have resonated as PERHAPS IT SHOULD HAVE" do you not comprehend?

Wow, you're reaching here, spinning this any way you can. He refused to pledge not to run Independent. And? He's a negotiator...you don't lay all of your cards out at the start if you're any good at negotiating.

No one has ever switched parties before? No one? Not a single politician, ever? How about citizens? How many of them change their party affiliation in their lifetime? And...so what? You mad that he finally woke up?

And? He didn't pick Obama, so that's a big plus right there since Obama is trash. Any Republican worth their weight in salt admits that Bush made mistakes, and I think we all pretty much agree that H.W. Bush wasn't the best at the job. So...what? Is that supposed to mean anything that he said Clinton?

Was it not a mistake? You think it wasn't? Is there something wrong with wishing we had the money back to invest in this country? You thought the war was a good idea?

No, it's a desperate spin job on your part, where you look for anything at all to cry about when it comes to Trump. Unlike the idiot that is in the WH now, isn't it good that someone who is running is able to get along with both parties? Don't forget, Trump is a business man. He catered to both sides for his gain. For his business. That's a smart businessman.

No, only RINOs talk like that, and what happened to the GOP? It got filled up with RINOs. You know, the type that would vote for someone like Rubio?
