Strong showing by Huckabee?
I have been watching the Glenn Beck stuff on CNN (?) and they just said he was in first or second in 8 of the 15 that have been reported (something to that extent, don't quote me).
That seems to be a VERY good showing by someone who was barely mentioned due to it supposedly being a 2 man race between McCain and Romney.
When does the saying change to "if Romney had got out Huck might be on top", instead of the other way around? Or am I off base with this statment?

economic conservatives would not vote for huckabee so it would have been preferable if huckabee had dropped out, because they both could carry some social and religious conservatives. it looks like the damage has been done and the republicans will be trotting out a liberal in the form of mccain. huckabee only won west virginia because mccain delegates switched to huckabee on the 2nd vote.

Wow, Huckabee just carried Georgia.
AR (obvious), WV, AL, and now GA?
More than a strong showing.

Yes, he is... I must say Bravo Bravo... I'm not a Huckabee supporter, but it's good to see people aren't settling for Romney or McCain.
Ron Paul is putting up good numbers in caucus states so far. I'm impressed all around tonight.

People want more options than what the media gives them.

I am very impressed with Huckabee's performance as well. I figured he would drop out after today but with all the good news he is getting, I definitely think he should stay in the race. I don't like the guy as he is a crook as any other candidate, however he is promising the Fair Tax, which is more than any other candidate who are promising nothing more than the status quo (McCain and Romney).

I'm glad he stays in too because that helps McCain bury Romney. I think McCain is overall the lesser of the two evils.

Yes I am glad he stayed in the race and I have a feeling that Edwards is probably kicking himself for not staying in. I think it is incredibly arrogant for one candidate to suggest that another candidate quit. Romney probably caused a lot of voters to vote for Huckabee. I want to assure the poster above that the same people would not be voting for Romney that voted for Huckabee. I will be voting for Huckabee if he is on the ballot, but never would I vote for Romney. He has a bad attitude.

I think Huckabee stunned most folks, including me. While I tend to shy away from the social conservatives, I have to give them kudo's for at least voting to their principles.
Huckabee lacks a great many things for me personally but I do believe the man to be genuine, more so than either McCain or Romney.

I think his honesty has really shown through.
