That wouldn't make a lick a sense though--Obama served his maximum two terms. The last president who was "fired" by the American people was George HW Bush.

I don't think so. I believe that Al Gore told Bill Clinton to go crawl under a rock. He didn't want any "help" from the disgraced, lying, adulterous, President.
And he lost. Many people think that was a mistake on his part.
Then again, pretty sure no one wanted W. campaigning for them either. Except of for the dummy, Jeb, in a frantic attempt to revive his campaign.
President Obama was out of line with his mockery and it showed a lack of class on his part. He's not up for re-election, so he needn't even worry about people like Trump. He just needs to get back to his business (or what passes for it).
