The fact is that Cruz is running for president not just of Iowans, or Alabamans, or Texans, but also of Californians, New Yorkers, Marylanders, etc. He is running for president of the UNITED States. A president must be a uniter. And Cruz failed to do that last night. Trump, as usual, proved that he is a uniter. Look how many Democrats and Independents support Trump. There's probably more Latinos supporting him than the Latino Cruz! Cruz can keep trying to make his "Trump is liberal" attack stick, but as Jeb! and Rubio, among others, have learned the hard way, The Donald is unstoppable and nobody cares. Cruz is too evangelical and conservative to ever beat Hillary Clinton or even Bernie Sanders. Not to mention, the birther and loan issues. Donald Trump, as a secular Republican, is the only one on the stage who can beat the Democrats.
Trump is a uniter. I have think if that is true. No, it isn't. I have never seen a candidate in my lifetime that bullied people by calling them names: stupid, loser, etc., etc. Is there anyone he likes, besides himself? He seems to despise just about anyone who suggests they don't agree with him. That's a bit unhinged, if you ask me.
Is it bullying if it is true? Our leaders along with all the GOPe candidates are all stupid, bought and paid for, and incredibly weak. They offer nothing new. No hope, no understanding of what Americans want, and project no strength. The Donald does all of this. Nobody has ever united the people the way Trump has, besides maybe Ronald Reagan in 1980.

Agree or disagree with someone, you are free to do that, but most people will side against you when you call those you disagree with bad people simply for disagreeing with you.
Cruz further hurt himself by defining those "immoral" values were. Saying someone is a bad person because they think 2 gay people should be able to get married is going to put you deep in the minority, even among those who are religious.

Trump has NO chance whatsoever to win either of those states in a General Election. Seriously, I think some Trump supporters have no clue about the political dynamics of some states.
Maryland elected a GOP governor and so did Illinois in 2014. Your smug predictions were wrong then and you haven't learned a thing. Nothing is guaranteed in politics. Louisiana just elected a Democrat governor.
