That's the problem that the Republican candidates run into these days. To please the Tea Party they have to say stupid, outrageous things, like "Sarah Palin has a place in my Administration." But after they win the nomination, those statements are still out there, ready to be used against them in the general.
Remember when Romney's campaign manager said this, in response to how far to the right Romney had to go to win the nomination?
"I think you hit a reset button for the fall campaign. Everything changes," Fehrnstrom responded. "It's almost like an Etch A Sketch. You can kind of shake it up, and we start all over again."
Except that you can't.

Palin is the almost perfect veep choice for Trump.
Plus, Trump probably just persuaded enough Iowa voters who were leaning towards Cruz to now give him the victory in a few days. If he runs the table in IA, NH and SC this game may be over.

I'm amazed at how quickly a bandwagon appears to carry Palin haters to spew their vitriol. If her adult children have trouble, apparently their mother is at fault. They denigrate this woman and cry fowl when their president is called to task. He has done so much damage to this country it will take years to recover, but their main goal is to insult Palin for being alive. They remind me of third graders on the playground.
