Palin helped send Cruz to DC to be a conservative fighter. He gives us a 100% CR. She decides that is not what she really wanted? She appears to be an opportunist.

Sadly, I think you are right about that. There is nothing from the 2008 Palin that would indicate that she has the same principles as Trump. Except fame and "winning," even if it means disregarding your "claimed" principles. She must believe she will get a cabinet position out of this.

I am shocked, shocked to learn that this might be the case.

I have to say, why shouldn't she take advantage of an opportunity?

Because it goes against everything she stood for - limited government, conservative values, gun rights, defunding Obamacare, etc. Trump represents none of these things and it isn't hard to find the proof.

And the opportunity is to push her agenda within a Trump administration. I'm sure there are some things that Trump represents that she does agree with, and to be an advocate for the things she disagrees with him about, and advocate with access, is an opportunity that many people would seize. I would point out that the first President Bush did exactly that when he agreed to run as Vice President with Reagan. He and Reagan disagreed on many issues, but Bush promoted his own political ideology within the Reagan administration, and when he ran for President he ran on Reagan's legacy, yet his own political ideology was very different.

Maybe she was not considered good enough by Cruz now that he is running for POTUS or maybe she isn't into the hard core Old Testament religion and Christian theocracy that he is promoting. The military is very big in AK. I would suppose she is more into securing freedoms for more than just those hardcore fanatics that promote themselves as "Conservative Christians".

My understanding is Track never saw combat and he doesn't have the designation that he would receive if he did. His role was apparently to drive higher ranks around the base. PTSD from that?

One loudmouth supports another.

Just one more reason NOT TO VOTE FOR TRUMP.
I totally agree. If there were not enough reasons to NOT vote for Trump, this should lock it up.

Voting for Hillary would be insane also, so it looks like another year of voting third party or write in. <sigh>
